Assignments
The EIA Centre conduct a number of smaller evaluation and development studies. These studies are initiated by the Centre or by authorities and agencies like for instance The National Environmental Protection Agency or The Swedish Road Administration. In some large projects the EIA Centre reviews EIA and other processes. The Centre does not, however, conduct EIAs or SEAs as such.
Current assignments include:
| Review of the railway planning process including EIA for the so called “Kiruna project” which involves moving the town Kiruna due to mining activities. The assignment is commissioned by Banverket (the Swedish National Rail Administration). |

| Adviser to SKB AB (Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management Co) and their work with EIA for the disposal of spent nuclear fuel. |

| Conducting the report “Environmental monitoring of road and railway projects”. The assignment is commissioned by Banverket (the Swedish National Rail Administration) and Vägverket (the Swedish Road Administration). |
